tradeoffs

i've heard this question before. if you knew when you would die, would you rather have an exciting life, laugh the loudest, cry the hardest or would you rather have a pleasant life, without sufferings, be happy, contented and then die?

so let's say you picked the former, the exciting blue line, then the happier you are, the more you know you will suffer when it has to end. then how far would you let yourself go before you choose to end it yourself? or would you seize the time you have regardless of the outome?
