the silence of a conference call

I've always been one to find solace and peace in the midst of noise.
Growing up, studying at coffee joints, blasting hip-hop / clubbing noise was the only way to drown out my easily-distracted mind (and keep me awake).
Anything too peaceful, calming usually puts me to sleep most efficiently

And today, with the sounds of the conference call (that is still ongoing for 2.5hrs now) in the background, i found it an oddly fitting time to take stock of my life so far...
